Hidden Side invites kids to join a fearless team of ghost hunters, who dare to see the unseen and help turn a haunted world back to normal, one ghost at a time. Dashing were briefed to collaborate with LEGO to bring to life the global concept by designing and executing two bus displays to show off the functionality of the new LEGO playset in-store. A shopper facing unit built to encourage gameplay and introduce fans to the new augmented reality app that brings the models to life, revealing a hidden world of interactive mysteries and challenges to solve.

Dashing worked on the industrial design of the display to resemble a carton style school bus incorporating the Hidden Side theme. The decision was made to construct the buses from the recyclable material Re-Board for its strength, weight and sustainability. A key consideration was that the buses were required to be plug and play so they could be installed on-site by LEGO staff including all tech hardware. They also needed to be easy to pack and send to five locations around Australia. A great result helping kids discover a hidden world of interactive play.
