Australia Post - Spread the Merry 2022

The Australia Post Spread the Merry campaign keeps the thread of fun and energy from previous years, this time having the inflatable Santa as the hero who helps people connect with their loved ones during the festive season.

Continuing our strong partnership with the brand, we activated the campaign in over thirty stores, including two flagships, and having deco kits reaching further 1,400 stores. We collaborated with The Monkeys to ensure the physical activation was aligned with all other media advertisements, creating an effective multi-channel campaign.

The eye-catching window displays portrayed the inflatable Santa in front of a free-standing backdrop wall with hanging staggered banners camouflaging into the top of the window. Rooftops decorated with twinkling Christmas lights fill the base of the scenario. We produced upholstered floating clouds, lettering, envelopes and presents to create theatre, depth and intrigue in the window.

The waving Santa welcomes customers entering the store, as the free-standing piece uses layered upholstered elements and letters mounted to spring wobblers for subtle movement. This storytelling is carried through the store with a layered panel and hanging elements in the counter area, providing a festive and bold display. To complete the experience, an archway with a mixture of 3D and reboard elements highlights Santa once again – he is greeting customers with outstretched open arms.
