To mark Lunar New Year and welcome the Year of the Fire Horse we worked closely with GPT Macquarie Centre to deliver a refined in-centre activation, introducing a heightened seasonal moment for customers to celebrate Lunar New Year with a little extra luck
Visitors were invited to gather beneath a striking 4.2-metre Cherry Blossom Tree on Level 2 outside H&M, its branches adorned with soft fairy lights and framed by suspended tassels overhead. Interactive zodiac panels encouraged customers to discover what the Year of the Fire (Crimson) Horse has in store – a rare cosmic event occurring once every 60 years, symbolising bold energy, passion and fresh beginnings.
Those who spent $188 in-centre could visit the Level 2 pop-up to open a locker and reveal a lucky red envelope, uncovering a mystery Macquarie Centre gift card valued up to $500. The experience, unified through a rich palette of reds and gold accents, created a sense of refined elegance, sparking engagement and excitement for passersby throughout the centre.
