The theme for 2022 posed the question: What defines the character of great cities? Inspired by the traditional stained glass windows of Sydney’s decadent old buildings, our modernised concept included sixteen bespoke geometric prisms that tesselate together to frame the George Street Flagship window.
Each prism featured back-lit coloured film to replicate our kaleidoscopic animation created for the digital screen. Additional translucent decals and coloured lights projecting out onto the street immersed people passing by in the spirit of Vivid while highlighting OPSM as a forward thinker in optical technology.
