Burberry - Outerwear 2021

As Burberry continues to innovate and break barriers in the fashion industry, their creative team approached Dashing for our first project collaboration together.

With the direction provided by the brand, the activations had to be aligned with their stunning outerwear concept, exploring the brand’s connection with nature. The campaign was executed globally, with a variety of builds, pop-ups, activations, and store displays. Dashing produced & implemented a touchpoint design in line with brand directives for the Flagship store in Sydney’s George St, produced in premium plywood, with layered contours supported and recessed strip lighting, supported with stainless steel uprights and with a reflective mirror base. The amazing Burberry Open Spaces Film was also represented with a custom build lightbox and graphic to compliment the zone.

We were engaged in production, development, and installation, with reaction and installation of the structure to the Chadstone Melbourne store within a 3-week timeframe. Supporting mirror wall and flooring concepts were also developed at Chadstone & Collins Street Flagships, with bespoke fitted hanging bust forms. All local production and installation were delivered through our Melbourne-based team.



It was a privilege to work with Burberry and the AU & APAC Creative teams – even more so when we were engaged to manufacture and install this concept offshore in their first Newmarket store in New Zealand. A new fully encased mirror window and bespoke lightbox with hanging bust forms were installed for the brand new store concept unveiling. All of these projects were managed and delivered simultaneously whilst working through the challenges of national and global lockdowns. Their success is a real testament to the team and the attention to detail to realise quality in the execution.
